Anyway, a few words on the opens. This year we decided to attempt a different approach, to let our athletes work the open into their schedule, and not the other way around. So we thought we would encourage people to pair up, become training buddies for the 5 weeks and come in when it worked for them, as opposed to us setting a time and getting everyone to come then. Did that make sense?
Point is, it didn’t work out the way we had hoped. The environment wasn’t the same, most people didn’t pick a buddy, and it was tough to find judges some days. So for the final open workout we are going back to last years model. This Saturday, at 12:30 I encourage everyone to come and participate together. I mean everyone, even those who are in the Building program and not actually signed up for the open but have been joining in on the fun. Those in Foundation who wanna come down and cheer the team on, family & friends, lets pack the house.
