Allllllllllllright that is a wrap on Sublime Open Event 18.1!!!
Yikes those pictures didn’t turn out well…. we are missing some folks because this workout stretched out nice and long! This workout was designed to give you a 20:00 grind… and if you made it past 20:00 you were just holding on for dear life. We had a epic battle between Phil and Josh go right to the buzzer, we had numerous “I’ll just be happy to make it past 10:00” turn into 20:00 :), the event featured a tie for first in the mens between Ivan and Jason…. and then we had Cristy complete 6/7 Rds in the 25:00-30:00 time frame in a effort that can only be described as disgusting. Just gutted it out. Loved it. We rocked, now lets roll onto the next one!
Sublime Open Event 18.2 musical theme will be Radio Rap. Likely nothing passed 2008, because these kids don’t make real music anymore.
Yes, for this workout you will need to fall into a hypnotic rhythm, and much like Radio Rap, things may sound repetitive and you would swear you have heard this before. Gotta keep these short, the millennials can’t focus too long, if it stretches out much longer than 3:00 you may start to fall behind your competition.
Our CrossFit Open crew gets after it Sunday at 10:00AM….Open gym is still a option if you want to get a workout in while you cheer them on!

Foundation – Kneeling BB Press & Pull Ups & DB Rows + Push Ups & Rowing
Building – Snatch & Clean Position Work + Jerk Dips
Wednesday & Thursday:
Everyone: Movement Prep + Intervals! (Skipping/Bike/Burpees/Box Jump/KBS)
Friday:
Foundation – FSQ + BSQ + Core Strength
Building – Snatch + C&J + FSQ
Saturday:
Sublime Open 18.2!!
