Hello Kyle,
I weighed myself last night for the first time since starting at Sublime. I have lost 12 lbs in just 5 and a half weeks. Clothing that was a bit too tight 5 and a half weeks ago now fits properly.
My energy has increased. This past weekend I completed all of my spring chores at my trailer in 2 days. These included raking up 10 giant bags of leaves, mowing and weed whacking a large amount of grass, chopping and piling a large amount of wood and cleaning and stocking up my trailer for the summer. The wood chopping and piling alone has taken me multiple weekends in the past. In between all of that I still had the energy to keep my kids very active. This included 2-3 bike rides per day, 3 running around Nerf fights in a field, 3 times paddling a raft with a kayak paddle while pulling my kids on a large inflatable circle and swimming 2-3 times per day (sometimes pulling the kids in the raft or on the inflatable circle).
I have cut all junk food out of my diet. I have not had a drink of alcohol since starting at Sublime. This is also due to Sublime. I work hard at Sublime so I don’t want to consume these empty calories and basically work out 1 or 2 times just to cover those calories. Doesn’t mean I won’t eat junk or drink alcohol ever again but for now I am abstaining. My diet now is just to fuel my workouts at Sublime and my new active lifestyle.
I am VERY happy with the results.
Thank you to you Kyle and Brendan and Tyler and Andy and Gail and Brad. If I have left anybody out it just means they have not yet coached me. Which ever one of you is coaching you deliver a challenging quality work out.
Regards
Curtis
Hard work pays off. When Curtis first came to us he had already done some amazing things, he had lost of lot of weight working out on his own. However, he was starting to notice that his progress was stalling. I can tell you this, it wasn’t due to lack of effort. Curtis just needed a little guidance and a proper program to follow. He came in with a fantastic attitude, Curtis isn’t afraid to get sweaty and leave it all at the gym.
He sent me this email a couple days ago when he got back from camping and I asked him if I could share it because I think it is awesome. The weight loss is great, it really is, but the part that gets me is when he talks about the improvements to his daily life. Doing yard work and still having plenty of energy to play with the kids. Nerf fights!!
When I think about where we can go from here I can only hope he is half as excited as me.
Keep it up Curtis.
