We have a new award to give away this year, a special addition to the Sublime Saturday Series. Coach Jay says:
“Someone who didn’t really want to participate originally, didn’t like to get uncomfortable, and for the most part stayed fairly quiet. Over the past few weeks I have seen her break all those molds and not only doing the work but enjoying what is happening (enjoying may be pushing it a touch). Someone who cheers others on, came in when she wasn’t feeling well and is now willing to push against the boundaries of who she was as an athlete.
The member I’m speaking of is Rachel.”
With great pride we present the SPIRIT OF SUBLIME AWARD to Rachel Westman!….Whooooo unfortunately (for us) is off on vacation enjoying some sunshine. So we will present her medal when she returns! Also, we learned the hard way, don’t have the Sublime Open wrap up on the weekend Spring Break begins 🙂 Noted for next year!
Great job everyone, and thank you Jay. We gave Jay freedom to run these weekends how he felt would work best and what he provided each week was outstanding. Great energy, great atmosphere, the decoy gym set ups, cryptic clues, it all made for a fun 5 weeks!
Also want to take a moment to shout out Dawny, Scotty, and Nicole who withstood the grind of the CrossFit Open. Week after week they waited until Thursday evening to find out what they would be fighting against Friday morning. They warmed up and formed strategies from 6am-7am, then went full out on whatever they were given. Once the scores are finalized next week we will provide an update on them.
Alrighty, on to the week program. We are going to do a “recovery week” to ease ourselves into our next cycle of programming. Maybe with the up coming warm weather we will get to venture out of the gym and into the parking lot for some fun? Who knows! For now, we have a low impact week coming your way.

Wednesday & Thursday:
Everyone – Rock Your Boat + Overhead Carries + Skipping + Suitcase Deadlifts & Bike
Friday:
Everyone – 25:00 Low Aerobic Work (Push Ups/Ring Rows/Crawls/Box Jump/Skater Sq)
Saturday:
With the Sublime Open all wrapped up we will bring back the Team Workouts! Join Coach Jay for a 3 person team workout involving… (Tuck Ups/Squats/KBS/Lunges/Bike/Row)
