2017! Wowza. Thanks for another year of Sublime, we will be having our yearly party, but it will be in February as both myself and Gail have week long trips in January & Jenelle and Jay are away for extended periods of time. Trying to ensure all can be there! More details to come.
Another month another attendance boost, December made it 9 months straight that we beat our previous year in attendance. So everyone gets a pat on the back, especially with the holidays making for weird work weeks this year!
With the month of January comes the expectations of ‘new year new me’ and all the pressure that resolutions bring. I want to encourage you to try smaller steps, pick a small goal and work at establishing a consistency with that goal before taking on something new. Commit to two training days week, once your visits are second nature then try adding a third. Switch out your lunch pop drink for water until drinking water just feels natural. All too often people try a complete overhaul only to become frustrated and upset with themselves. Health is a life long journey, you can’t undo 20 years of bad habits over night.
A lot of our mentality around training and life comes from the Precision Nutrition team. We have 17 members currently working through the program (including myself) starting back in September. We will be opening it up again to anyone who is interested in the coming days. More details to follow, but for now give this article a read through, I thought it was a fitting one for this time of year. I also know how much people enjoy lists, and it has one 😉
We are wrapping up our current cycle, we will begin to see more conditioning as we approach The Crossfit & Sublime Opens. But first! The first Sublime Saturday Series event of 2017 is the Partner Hopper! Start pairing up for January 21st, the workout will be unknown until that morning! Same sex partners, if you don’t have one, let Jay know and he will play match maker!

Building – P-Cl + FSQ + GHR & RKC
Saturday:
